Exploring Caines Head in Seward Alaska

Explore Caines Head Trail in Seward, Alaska. This adventure has been on my list for a while! Based out of Seward, Alaska we start near Lowell Point at Miller’s Landing. We rented kayaks and started towards the historic Caines Head Recreation Area. If you’re looking for places to rent kayaks in Seward Miller’s Landing is where most people go to start their adventure. Parked next to Resurrection Bay the historic WW2 Fort McGilvray served as a strategic lookout point during the war. Hiking to Fort McGilvray offers some great scenery with an awesome reward at the end, if you’re up to stepping inside the fort. If exploring the inside of abandoned WW2 forts isn’t your thing I got you covered, just watch this episode. This episode is packed with information and some great photography tips when it comes to taking pictures at the beach.
